By road

Two highways passing through the city in an east-west and North-South:
 A-11 or Highway del Duero. Communicate on the east by Toro ,Tordesillas,Valladolid and Soria.At the moment this road does not continue to the west,so that communication with the Raya is performed through the N-122 ,crossing the region of Ready ,although they are tendered or proposed works to converted to highway linking Zamora stretches capital and San Martín del Pedroso ,on the border,connecting there with the IP-4 Portuguese.
 A-66 or Highway Route de la Plata. Its layout is a splitting of the road N-630.In May 2009 opened the final stretch to connect missing entirely by motorway Zamora and Salamanca.It remains to the stretch between the capital and Benavente ,the only outstanding all expressway,and is scheduled to enter service in 2014.

By train

Zamora run by two railroads,both buried in much of its route within the city. The first links it to Madrid through Medina del Campo in one direction and Orense on the contrary.The other is communicating Valladolid with Puebla de Sanabria.A third line,which was in service until the early 1980s ,was the Silver Route Railroad ,which crossed from north to south the Iberian Peninsula ,from Gijón to Seville.Although the section between Astorga and Plasencia is closed since there is strong demand for its reopening. There were up to 2005 a line was traveling Zamora- Barcelona ,a branch of Train Star "John Doe" and that was closed by its low occupancy.

Church of Santiago de los Caballeros

The church of Santiago de los Caballeros,also sometimes referred to,Santiago de las Eras or James the Elder,is a temple of the Romanesque style that is in the city of Zamora ,Castilla y Leon ,Spain.

Church of San Cipriano

St. Cyprian's Church is a church Romanesque located in Zamora ,Castilla y León.Old parish is now annexed to the Provincial Hospital. It belongs to the primitive group of Zamora,ie,the previous one and the Cathedral which also includes the churches of Santo Tome ,Santiago el Viejo,San Claudio de Olivares and Santa María la Nueva,architectural ensemble of some authors emphasize their high component of specialty,exclusivity,with a very distinctive and notable localism which might even say that is a separate group within the Spanish Romanesque.

Church of Santa Lucia

The Church of Santa Lucia is a building of Romanesque found in Zamora .The temple,dedicated to the worship of Christians ,is located in the old medieval district of Puebla Valley.Within this area of Zamora ,the building is next to the so-called Palace of the cord.This,at present,houses the Provincial Museum of Zamora ,so a passageway is almost a must for tourists in the city. Here historians maintain the existence of the Jewish quarter of the city,which would be consistent with the dedication of this temple martyrological.

Church of Santa Maria la Nueva

The Church of Santa Maria la Nueva,is a temple Romanesque located in the city of Zamora.This church,declared of Cultural Interest in 1945 ,was built in the early twelfth century under the patronage of San Román but in the middle of that century the town was burned by Zamora during the Mutiny of the Trout ,rebuilt by royal command and changing the current name of Santa Maria la Nueva. According to documents of the fifteenth century ,in 1158 the commoners of the city supported the son of a shoemaker,named Benito Pellitero,who resisted to the steward of a nobleman who wanted to snatch the trout he had acquired in the market and set fire to the church when inside the nobles were meeting to discuss the punishment should fall on them.

Church of San Torcuato

The Church of San Torcuato is a temple Baroque built between 1673 and 1682 and renovated in the eighteenth and nineteenth located in the city of Zamora ,Spain .Stresses within the altarpiece baroque of the early S. XVIII. Its authors were Antonio Tomé and Francisco Perez .

Church of Santiago del Burgo

The church of Santiago del Burgo or as sometimes called James the Burgo,is a temple of the Romanesque style that is in the city of Zamora ,Spain .Although its construction began in the second half of the twelfth century ,was not completed until the XIII .

Church of San Juan Bautista

The church of San Juan Bautista church is a Romanesque located in Zamora ,Castilla y León. It is located in the middle of the Plaza Mayor de Zamora.In one corner you can find a modern statue Merlú .

Church of Santa Maria de la Horta

The Church of Santa Maria de la Horta,also known simply as the Church of Horta,is a temple Romanesque located in Zamora ,Spain.It is a National Monument since June 3,1931 .The construction of the church began in the late twelfth century.Belonged for centuries,along with the monastery in the fourteenth century it was built annex to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem ,both the parent company of the Spanish branch of the Order and serving the convent until the sixteenth century as residence of the Grand Prior of Castile.

Zamora Cathedral

The Cathedral of Zamora,dedicated to Salvador,is part of the Duero called Romanesque,distinguished for being the smallest and the oldest of eleven in the region of Castilla y Leon.It was declared a Monument National and Royal Order of 5 September 1889.Its plan is a Latin cross with three aisles of four bays,the side-vaulted transept and central simple. The three apses originally had been replaced by a header in the sixteenth century Gothic. In the transept rises a dome with a drum of 16 windows on which stands a gallon dome covered with stone flakes and supported with clear scallops of Byzantine influence. It is the most striking,beautiful and original temple,and a true symbol of the city.
