Campveerse Tower

The Campveerse Tower , built as a part of the city defenses around 1500, from the sixteenth century that the tower served as an inn and coastal light. It is now one of the oldest existing house in the Netherlands.

Great Church

The Great and Our Lady is a late Gothic basilica in Zeeland city Veere .In 1342 founded church was dedicated to Our Lady for snow- and was in 1472 a collegiate church , consisting of twenty canons attached. Besides this canon were five chaplains, one Cantor and three choristers attached to the parish.Died on 20 May 1465 the Scottish king's daughter Margaret Stuart , daughter of King James I of Scotland and Queen Joan Beaufort . She was married to Wolfert VI Borsele thereby Marchioness of Veere. The king's daughter was "with great reverence"are buried in the choir. Her gravestone or tombstone and all knowledge of the exact place where she was buried, have been lost

The Museum of Scottish Homes

The Scottish Houses Museum is a historical museum of art , regional dress and interior connected with the history of the town of Veere in Zeeland , Netherlands .The museum is housed in two late- Gothic merchant houses on the quay to the former fishing port of Veere ("The Lammeken" and "The Struijs"). It includes a Scottish Room, decorated in the form of a reception room and office of the so-called Curator of the Scottish staple at Veere, exhibitions of regional costumes and changing exhibitions and the international Veerse artists' colony (1870-1970)/Walcheren in Zeeland and related artists past and present.

The Cow

The Cow is a flour mill on the Warwijcksestraat on the outskirts of Veere . It is a round, brick built mill in 1909 and the Zeeland tradition whitened. The mill is covered with zinc and a flight of 23.50 meter . It is a defining image mill from all sides visible location. Hall of Veere

The Hall of Veere is a town hall on the Market in Veere in Zeeland . It is a late Gothic building with statues of the four men and three women of Veere. The Town Hall is one of the top 100 of the Dutch UNESCO monuments .Henry IV of Borsele , Lord of Veere, commissioned the construction of City Hall. Construction of City Hall began in 1474 under the leadership of the Flemish Everaert Spoorwater . It was completed in 1477.The Town Hall has two restorations had in 1885 and in 1930-1935.
During World War II, despite the progress made bells the bells hang. In 1907, during the second Hague Peace Conference determined that it is not permissible historically valuable artifacts into enemy territory to seize.

Spuisluis

A spuisluis is a lock designed to inland to vent and open to return. Hence it is called floodgate.It was also a spuisluis built to the level of the internal waters of a city to settle. Thus the Nete just outside winch a spuisluis built to remove excess water from the headwaters to stop if necessary.The building of the lock is called "Spui".
