Castle of Santa Maria da Feira

The Castle of Fair, also referred to as the Castle of Santa Maria da Feira Castle and Santa Maria, located in the parish and city of Feira, municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, Aveiro district, in Portugal. Formerly head of the Land of Santa Maria, ex libris of the Fair, is considered one of the most complete examples of military architecture medieval in the country, since it is represented a wide range of defensive elements employed in the period.

Loios Convent

The Loios Convent is located in the parish of Fair, city and county of Santa Maria da Feira, in the district of Aveiro in Portugal. The monastery was erected on the initiative of the 3rd Earl of Fair, D. Manuel Pereira, but it was his son, the 4th Earl of Fair, Diogo Pereira and his wife, Ana de Menezes, who took the testimony of devotion to St. John the Evangelist.

Zoo Lourosa

Zoo or Lourosa Ornithological Park Municipal Zoo is one devoted exclusively to birds, located in Lourosa, Santa Maria da Feira. It is the only zoo in the country devoted exclusively to birds. With a collection of 500 animals of 150 different species distributed in 80 habitats, is an area that appeals to environmental education, conservation of species and biodiversity

Visionarium

The Visionarium - Europarque Science Center is located in Asparagus in Santa Maria da Feira in Portugal. Museum of Santa Maria de Lamas

Located in the village of Santa Maria de Lamas and popularly referred to as the Cork Museum, the Museum of Santa Maria de Lamas (MSML) was founded in the 50s by Henrique Alves de Amorim (1902-1977). This has devoted much of his life to the development of Santa Maria de Lamas, work for which he was awarded the Commendation of the Order of Officer of Public Instruction in 1952. As a lover of art that was, Henrique Amorim dedicated to the collection of a vast estate, an effort that culminated in the founding of MSML.The March 5, 1959, inspired by countryman and former Minister of Corporations Dr. Veiga de Macedo, Henrique Amorim made a donation of a wide range of goods to the House of the People of Santa Maria de Lamas. Among the donated property stood a building for the Museum, with all their contents, set in place of Souto de Santa Maria de Lamas, the bottom of the park, as stated in the deed of donation.

Museum of Paper

This monographic museum, which shows a great heritage value in the history of the paper since 1708 in the County of Santa Maria da Feira and several other municipalities in the country, as in the production of enormous importance even in Portugal, is undoubtedly a milestone achieved within the Industrial Portuguese Museology.This museum, owned by the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, is inserted in the Parish Hall of Brandao, as one of the important landmarks of the Land of Santa Maria, was inaugurated on 26 October 2001 and is part of the Portuguese Network of Museums from the day May 18, 2002.

Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria

Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria is the largest recreation medieval of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the largest in Europe. Each year, Santa Maria da Feira, dresses, and indeed the whole town turns to receive the recreation of a real environment of the middle ages.

Mamoa Quinta da Lage

The Mamoa Quinta da Lage is located along the National Road, near the parish of Pigeiros in the municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, Aveiro district, in Portugal. This is a large tomb, erected during the Neo- Chalcolithic. However, contrary to what usually happens in such site, the mound presents structures without burial.It is classified as a Public Interest since 1997.

Mercy Church of Santa Maria da Feira

The Church of Mercy of Santa Maria da Feira is located in the historic center of the parish and city of Feira, municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, Aveiro district, in Portugal.
