Castle Grunbuhel

The castle Grunbuhel also Bichl Castle Green is located north of the town in the district Rottenmann Villmann village. The castle is a dark elongated building with corner projections. There are rooms with stucco ceilings dating from the 17th Century. The chapel was at the end of the 17th Century renewed.

Parish Church St Nicholas

The first church was built in the 1st Half of the 13th Century by the city, financed from the proceeds of the toll road. At the time, called as a branch church of Lassing. 1439 was donated by the citizens Rottenmanner Wolfgang Dietz "much money" for a new church. 1480 St. Nicholas Church was provost of the newly founded Augustinian Canons monastery. Church of St. Georgen

The Church of St. George was built in 1042 as the first Rottenmanner church in the Romanesque style. Renewed consecration in 1313 by Bishop Henry of Gurk , after it was destroyed by Turks and Tatars. Extensive recent destruction in August 1480 by the Turks, then rebuilt. Gothic perhaps 1414, a window is reminiscent of the former Romanesque style. On 13 June 1513 by Bishop Berthold of Chiemsee Purstinger, who at that time, including the churches of Lassing and Gaishorn dedicated, consecrated again. The late-Gothic high altar was created in 1520 by the workshop of Lienhart Astl from Gmunden. Also worth noting is the positive organ from 1722. Old Castle Gate
