Bogdana Monastery

Bogdana Monastery is an Orthodox monastery of monks located in the city Radauti ( Suceava County ), Bogdan Voda Street. 4-6. The monastery church was founded by Prince Bogdan I (1359-1365), founder of the Moldovan feudal state, and served as royal necropolis.

It was founded by a group of local intellectuals, originally bearing the name "Museum of Antiquities and Ethnography". It is the oldest ethnographic museum in Moldova.Museum presents traditional occupations, in northern Romania costumes, fabrics, rugs, bags, sewing and embroidery on white lambskin shirt and cloth tastefully worked fine art, wood carvings, ceramics, etc.. Monastery Sucevita

Wooden Church Putna
