How to Reach

The tourists can reach Qautre Bornes with ease by availing the flights to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport. Quatre Bornes lies at a short distance to the west of the airport. The buses and taxis are available in plenty near the airport to take the tourists to Quatre Bornes. This city is also accessible from the other Mauritius cities like Beau Basin, Roches Brunes, Rose Hill, Trianon, Palma, Solferino, Phoenix and Bambous.

Le Morne

le morne beach is the attraction for surfers and kite surfers. not great for families or swimming but super for the active holidays. the sea is mostly quite rough and the wind strong so a perfect place for kiters. you can find some kite and surf schools along the main road. on the beach you have some food stands for nice andeasy take away


Souillac is a beautiful village surrounded by sublime nature. its peaceful, away from the noise of the day to day life. You will find a roughly beautiful sea, which you may only admire! lol

Crocodiles Park

La Vanille Réserve des Mascareignes was opened in 1985. This part of the island has, more than any other part, kept a feeling "old Mauritius", whether it be the manner of the people, their traditions. La vanille Crocodile park, has not only crocs but also, giant tortises, bats, reptiles, monkeys, giant frogs, chameleons, birds, fish, boars, ... and also baby crocodiles that you can even touch and hold! Their restaurant Crocodile´s dish are for the most curious.. Be aware that all animals are well treated there!

La Citadelle

Fortification from the previous century, La Citadelle overlooks Port-Louis town and harbour and offers a magnificent 360 degrees perspective over the capital, town buildings and adjoining mountain range. The atmosphere will bring you back to earlier days of naval battles where alternatively French and British erected fortifications to defend against attacking enemies from the sea.

Riviere du Rempart

Rivere du Rampart is an island and is a nine administrative district. It covers area of 126 meters.  This district lies to the North East of this Country. This district is flat in nature with. It is about 0-150 meters from sea level. Mapou is the capital and the biggest town in this country. To the north of Rivere du Rempart lies Grand Port. Port Louis is situated to the north east of this city. Sugarcane, food crops and fruits are grown in here.

There are many flourishing towns in this city. It includes Cape Malheureux and Grand Gaube. These places lie near the coast line. Tourism is the up coming business in this district. Plain des Papayes and Antoinette are some of the tourist spots. Poudre d’or Hamlet and Saint François form the cities in Mauritius. The popular places in this city consist of Grand Baie and Pereybere.
