The Bay Line Railroad LLC has an 82 miles (132 km) rail line running north to Dothan, Alabama to a connection with CSX Transportation and Norfolk Southern.The Bay Line Railroad (reporting mark BAYL) is one of several short line railroad companies owned by Genesee & Wyoming Inc. It operates between Panama City, Florida, and Abbeville, Alabama, with trackage rights on CSX's Dothan Subdivision between Dothan and Grimes, Alabama. The line interchanges with CSX's PA Subdivision at Cottondale, Florida, and their Dothan Subdivision at the trackage rights section near Dothan, Alabama. It also interchanges with the Chattahoochee and Gulf Railroad in Dothan, Alabama.
By Air
The city was served by the Panama City-Bay County International Airport (PFN) until May 22, 2010. It was replaced by the Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) with Southwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines. It became the first international airport designed and constructed since the September 11 attacks.

Gulf World Marine Park

Highlights include three go-kart tracks, which feature the fast Formula II Track, with 9 hp go-karts; and the three-storey high Vortex racetrack. Other attractions on-site are bumper boats and miniature golf, while the Kids Kingdom contains Kiddie Go-Karts and Krazy Bumper Karts. There is also a games arcade with all the latest games.
Zoo World Zoological and Botanical Park
Featuring hundreds of exotic animals, the Zoo World Zoological and Botanical Park in Panama City has resident lions, tigers, kangaroos, orangutans and snow leopards, as well as many other species. There are nearly as many species of plant as there are animal attractions, and the creatures have a beautiful environment to spend their days in. Kids will also be chuffed with the petting zoo.
