Orebro Castle

Orebro Castle is a castle building located on an islet in Svartån in Orebro , Narke . How old castle is not known with certainty, but by mid-1300's built there a fortress, probably by Magnus Eriksson . Since 1764 works as the palace residence of Governor of Orebro County . Orebro Castle is a national monument since 1935.

The fungus

The fungus is a water tower in the district north of Orebro . The fungus was designed by architect Sune LindstrOm . The water tower is 58 meters high and holds 9 million gallons of water. It was inaugurated in May 1958 and replaced the South Water Tower and North Water Tower .Up in the tower is a water show (water park) and a café and conference facility. On the terrace's western edge is also a model of the planet Neptune, which represents end point of the 2.5-km-long model of the Solar System Orebro format . The fungus has about 100,000 visitors a year.A copy of the fungus (but 33 percent higher) in the Saudi capital of Riyadh . The copy was built according to the wishes of the then Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz .The fungus was declared a historic building in 2005.

Orebro County Museum is a local museum department in Orebro . It began operations in 1856 , which means that it is one of the oldest. The institution holds, in addition to a museum in Orebro, a number of listed buildings around the county of Orebro and an archive (County Heritage), located in the district Grenadjarstaden in Orebro.

Orebro Olaus Petri church

Orebro Olaus Petri church is a congregation of Strangnas pins . The congregation and the church , is named after the reformer Olaus Petri , who was born in these parts. He stands, along with his brother Laurentius Petri , statue outside the church.The congregation was formed in 1913 as Orebro Northern Assembly after the partition of Orebro church and changed its name to the current name of the 1921st
