Metropolitan Bus

Since 2010 , Logrono has a metropolitan bus service connecting the towns near the capital, with services that are pitch intervals between 25 and 50 minutes. The service is operated by Metropolitan Jimenez, consisting of the UTE aulos, Coach Jimenez and Logroza, all subsidiaries of Grupo Jimenez . The locations at which services are Navarrete , Recajo , Fuenmayor , Train , Agoncillo , Ashtray , Murillo de Rio Leza , Albelda de Iregua , Ribafrecha , Arrubal and Nalda .

Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Redonda

The Cathedral of Santa Maria de La Redonda is a church located in Logrono . Along with Calahorra Cathedral and the Santo Domingo de La Calzada is home to the ecclesiastical diocese of Calahorra and La Calzada-Logrono .In the tenth century the Camino de Santiago across the Ebro river by a bridge that gives rise to a population that eventually become the city of Logrono.In 1095 King Alfonso VI of Castile gives this place a forum for the settlement of French settlers and pilgrims. Over time achieved remarkable growth and built the churches of Santa Maria de Palacio , Santiago el Real , San Bartolome and Santa Maria de La Redonda, the latter in the suburb and apart from the route of the Camino de Santiago. It was called The Round Church for being a Roman , probably octagonal , similar to those in the Way of St. James of Navarre in Eunate and Torres del Rio .

Church of St. Bartholomew

Church of St. Bartholomew is declared of cultural interest in the category of Monument on September 18, 1866. Built in the XIII century, adjoining the city wall, the cover is the best example of Gothic sculpture of La Rioja. It consists of three ships, cruise line and triple apse Romanesque, shamefully hidden on the outside of a residential building.

Church of Santa Maria de Palacio

The Church of Santa Maria de Palacio is a religious monument located in the city of Logrono in La Rioja , Spain . It owes its name to the donations of Alfonso VII of his palace in 1130 for the erection of the first foundation of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in the Kingdom of Castile . Thanks to the sovereign church also holds the title of emperor.

Espartero Monument

The monument to General Espartero of Logrono is located in the Paseo del Ram. represents the political and military Baldomero Espartero ( 1793 - 1879 ) mounted on horseback. It was inaugurated on September 23 of 1895 . It is precisely this city where the general died, where he had lived most of his life.

Stone Bridge

The Stone Bridge Logrono is one of the four bridges that cross the river Ebro as it passes through the capital of La Rioja . It is also known as Puente de San Juan de Ortega, referring to the chapel which was on its left bank. Fourth Bridge

The Bridge of Praxedes Mateo Sagasta,popularly known as Logrono Fourth Bridge, is the latest of the buildings on the river Ebro as it passes through Logrono.Designed by Carlos Fernandez Casado SL office was awarded to the company Ferrovial Agroman and opened on April 30th of 2003 .

Iron Bridge

The Iron Bridge Logrono is the oldest of the four bridges spanning the river Ebro as it passes through the capital of La Rioja. Opened in 1882 and has a length of 330 meters. Also called Puente de Sagasta.
Consists of 11 sections of 30 meters each, designed to a height from the lowest level of the river about eight meters tall enough to save the great floods of the Ebro at certain times of year, as occurred in the years 1775 , 1831 and 1871 , which exceeded by a meter at the bridge. It was built following a design by the architect Fermin Manso de Zuniga.
