Kristianstad Railway Museum

Kristianstad Railway Museum is part of the Regional Museum of Kristianstad .The museum opened on 19 May 1979 and has since remained open during the summer, between May to September. In September, arrange museum with Museums Association Eastern Skane Railways Open Day, when it shows a lot of different technologies historical applications, notably in transport and the railway.Railway Museum is located in Kristianstad South Station area and use the yard for storage of museum vehicles. The museum has mostly show in the form of locomotives and cars set both in the museum hall and out on the yard area at Kristianstad South. The yard is a turntable and a kolkran with a water horse and askgrav.

Tivoli Park

Tivoli Park is a city park in central Kristianstad bounded to the west of the River Helge . There are bird ponds, gardens and playgrounds. The city's theater, designed by Axel Anderberg , is situated in the middle of the park. Originally known as Comme kind of bed . Colloquially referred to the park sometimes that "Kristianstad soul."The colonel and commandant LA Georg Cedergren (1768 - 1835) was the one who started the tree planting on the Commandant's bed, which later became Tivoli Park. Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity Church in Kristianstad , Holy Trinity parish , located opposite the railway station in the center. It was built for King Christian IV of Denmark from 1618 to 1628. Bishop Mads Jensen Medelfar from Lund opened the church on Holy Trinity days , 8 July 1628 . The architect was Dutchman van Steenwinckel Lorenz (1585-1619). Steenwinckel also designed the church altar that was transported by boat and barge to Kristianstad from Amsterdam is the 1625th Although Lorenz van Steenwinkels younger brother, Hans van Steenwinkel (1587-1639), was involved in the work of the church.
The church is large and bright and has been called the most beautiful Renaissance church . November 13,1866 was, however, the current tower, completed in accordance with drawings by JA Haverman, Superintendent of Antiquities. Large royal house

Large royal house is a government building at Stora Torg in central Kristianstad .The building was built in 1840-41. The building housed both the Court of Appeal over Skane and Blekinge , which Wendes Artillery Regiment and the facade is in gold written text: "Legibus et armis" . AT Laws and Weapons. Previously assumed a main guard from the building. It disappeared in the 1920s. Today there are no military operations in the house except a military 'Club. The last military unit, Southern Maintenance Regiment , left the building in 2001.
