Pankritio Stadium

The Cretan Stadium is being built for the needs of the Olympic Games.Located in Heraklion, Crete, on the west side of town 50.south of the sea.It has a capacity 26,240 spectators and is one of the most modern in the country.The construction was completed in March 2004.Includes football, track with eight lanes, pool and function rooms underneath the stands.Also, outside the main stage is assistant stage with tartan and grass.It is fully equipped power.Used in the qualification matches for the football tournament of the Olympic Games ATHENS 2004.Until now only used by a football team of the city, Ergotelis, while there has been given for use by the general public or groups track and other sports in the city.

Archaeological Museum of Heraklion

Archaeological site of Knossos
