Parish Church

The Parish Church is a Roman Catholic church in the Upper Austrian town of Gmunden in the Salzkammergut. The most significant work of art is the Three king altar, a work of Bavarian Baroque sculptor Thomas Schwanthaler side with figures of Michael Zurn the Younger. Castle Place

She was married in 1904 with the American chemist Dr. Jerome Stonborough.

Cumberland Castle

The Cumberland Castle lies on a hill northeast of Gmunden in the vicinity of Lake Traun in Austria. On 2 October 1866 was the Prussian occupation of the Kingdom of Hanover. The King of Hanover, George V, had become by these events to a country without refugee who had to rely on the hospitality of his relatives and friend of princes.In spring 1868, the royal family arrived just as the imperial court in Vienna at a spa in the Salzkammergut. They took residence in the Villa Redtenbacher near Gmunden. Today even ducal property, known as the Queen Villa, was in the immediate vicinity of the castle.

Schloss Weyer

Weyer Castle is located in the same district of Gmunden on Lake Traun. The castle is surrounded by a wall, two-story, hook-shaped castle from the 16th century baroque chapel with a free-standing.The castle is privately owned. The owners use it to time including a gallery of Meissen porcelain and silverware.
