Maritime museu, The Vancouver Maritime Museum announces a public, curated exhibition showcasing Drs. Wallace and Madeline Chung’s collection of early 20th century steamship memorabilia and artifacts recently donated to the museum. The Golden Age of Steamship Travel: Voyages of Immigration that Changed Canada will present artifacts alongside exceptional documents, illustrating life aboard these great ocean liners. The exhibition will draw upon more than 600 posters, ship models, and over 4,000 archival items. Collection includes pamphlets, reports, deck plans, promotional brochures, clippings, books and photographs.

HMAS Sydney Memorial,  HMAS Sydney Search Pty Ltd as Trustee for the Finding Sydney Foundation and the Naval Association of Australia wish to permanently commemorate the crew of HMAS Sydney (II), by the establishment of a web based ‘Virtual Memorial’ to enable families to contribute their stories about the men they lost so tragically on the 19th November 1941.
