Castle of Cox

It is the main monument of the village of Muslim origin is declared as one of the oldest in the Valencia and Spain.Cox Castle sits on top of about 80 meters high, which, thanks to the cut produced for the passage of the old road Alicante-Murcia, is a small island in the northeast foothills of the Sierra de Cox, presiding the population. It offers a beautiful view of the Vega Baja del Segura and its slopes and peaks aqueologicos remains have been found in all cultures without interruption since the Bronze Age until today, with a special place Iberian, Roman and medieval.

Church of San Juan Bautista

It is a temple of style Baroque - Neoclassical,built between 1774 and 1778 by architect Don Miguel de France Guillen, under the episcopacy of Jose Tormo and July. It was founded on the basis of the former Arab mosque early church and ever since then dedicated to the worship of San Juan Bautista to the first category climb and privileged altar, being converted into a parish church in 1597. Shrine of Our Lady of Carmen

Located just outside the place, today the city center and near the Camino Real, stands the convent, where according to ancient legend, there was the emergence and early discovery of the patron of Cox, Mary of the Virtues, and the old this medieval chapel. In the year 1611 Mr. Cox Locus D. Juan Ruiz Davalos who owned a palace next to the chapel of Virtues, donated to the Carmelite Order Shoes these two buildings to build upon them the convent. Its construction was completed in July 1611.

Museum Villa Cox

It is in the house of culture. In the museum you can see people's curiosities, such as photos, ancient artifacts, old tools used in the garden, and so on.

Cox Mill

Seventeenth century building which belonged to Mr. Cox. It has three floors and has unusual dimensions to the rest of flour mills of La Mancha. It is the only mill that is located in the district of Vega Baja del Segura.
