Cathedral of St.Mary of the Assumption of Chilpancingo
The Cathedral of the Assumption in Chilpancingo,is the head temple of the city,is dedicated to the Virgin Mary in her title of Our Lady of the Assumption and for some years is the episcopal see of the diocese,as previously this was in the Levitical city of Chilapa Alvarez.It is located in the downtown area,within the architectural and historic civic plaza occupies the "First Congress of Anahuac."
