Chapel of the Saviour

Situated on a hill overlooking the bay of outstanding natural beauty,the Chapel of the Saviour,which is named after August 6th was the day of the Transfiguration of the Savior,the date of the recapture of Calpe by James I. Recreation type called Gothic conquest,is a rectangular building and access door facing north defined by diaphragm arches. The interior is divided into three sections by arches resting on pillars of stone buttresses that develop outside the facade. The first building dates from the eighteenth century. In 1748 a new building stands on the site of previous building was rebuilt in 1945 and 1992.

Parish Church

Dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows is located in the heart of Old Town,its construction dates from 1973-75 with a predominance of modern and solid forms. They emphasize their windows and murals that decorate the interior with the mosaic technique,as well as the facade decorated with a mosaic inaugurated 10.22.97 showing different scenes from the Old and New Testament,along with images of Christ and Sweat Our Lady of the Snows.

Ermita San Juan de la Cometa

Located on the outskirts of the town,in the Comet Tossal,this is a set of historic religious buildings consisting of a fortified farmhouse built in the late seventeenth century or early eighteenth century.

The Ancient Church

Attached to the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, is like a hood the Ancient Church,the only example of Gothic-Mudejar Valencia,the wall is its support and the existing walled buildings. He combined the religious and defensive build a kind of defensive bulwark. This primitive strength of the fourteenth century was transformed and is now the vestry and the tower base. Inside the temple a reredos of the fifteenth century depicting St. Anthony Abbot,St. Cosmas and St. Damian,of high artistic value,attributed to a disciple of John Reixach.

Mascarat Castle

The Castell del Castillo Mascarat Mascarat and is located in the municipality of Cerro Castellet Calpe in Alicante.These are the remains of a watchtower built in the late sixteenth century to prevent the attack of pirates. This tower was built on the site and the materials of the old Castle of Calpe built between the XII and XIV of which there are still remnants of the base of the wall paintings and rock-cut cisterns. Located at an altitude of 256 m above sea level controlled the bay of Calpe and the old road that ran along the gorges of Mascarat.This building is still standing base of the tower and one wall of 4 feet wide by 4.5 m in height observed in the loopholes.

Tower of the part (PECA)

It is the bulwark of defense that housed the "sin",a piece of artillery that defended the Christian core of the fifteenth century onwards and which owes its name. Today we found two guns near the tower of the four taken in the port of Calpe and English production from the early fourteenth century. Conical base,its upper part is cylindrical. The construction system is based on stone mortar.

New House (Casa Nova)

Typical fortified farmhouse,historic and architectural interest,which are integrated living and working areas. Probably built in the late seventeenth century or early eighteenth century,the building is a visual landmark and landscape that dominates most of the municipality. It consists of a main body compact,rectangular,three heights and gable roof with end holes of the first floor balconies transformed into lattice planes. In the main building are attached to its rear face a number of bodies creating two courtyards,an outer and an inner housing that articulate the work areas. The traditional materials used are generally of stone masonry construction is mixed. Stand on its facade forward run rough-hewn stone and brocket on access hole.

Natural Park of Penon de Ifach

The Natural Park of Penon de Ifach is a natural park in the province of Alicante, in Valencia, Spain .The park is located on a rock isolated in the north coast of the province of Alicante, one of the foothills of the Betic mountains reaching an altitude of 332 meters. This huge limestone mass drops abruptly to the sea and is linked to the mainland by an isthmus detrital. Due to its physical characteristics is a trig point third-order and in time was used for the triangulation of Spain .

Playa Arenal-Bol

The Arenal-Bol beach is a sandy beach of the town of Calpe in Alicante.This beach is bordered to the north of Playa del Cantal Roig and south by La Manzanera and has a length of 1,200 m,with an amplitude of 50 m.It is situated in an urban environment,providing access by road. It has parking and enclosed promenade. It offers disabled access. Beacon is a beach area has marked out for departure of boats.

Playa de la Fossa

Fossa beach is a beach of sand,pebbles and rocks the town of Calpe in Alicante.This beach is bordered to the north with Calalga Beach and south to the Rock of Ifach and has a length of 950 m,with an amplitude of 50 m.It is situated in an urban environment,providing access by road. It has parking and enclosed promenade. It offers disabled access. Beacon is a beach area has marked out for departure of boats.

Playa del Cantal Roig

The Cantal Roig beach is a sandy beach of the town of Calpe in Alicante.This beach is bordered to the north to the port of Calpe and south to Playa del Arenal-Bol and has a length of 200 m,with an amplitude of 15 m.It is situated in an urban environment,providing access by road. Parking has defined. This beach is signposted.
