By road

Bermeo is tied to Munguia (18 km) across the road BI-631 and Guernica and Luno (14 km) across the road BI-2235. He also holds the road BI-3101 that connects the town with Baqui (12 km). The capital, Bilbao (33 km), is connected with the town through the BI-631 road and the BI-2235 that connects with the A-8 AP-8. The BI-631 is composed mostly of highway sections except the section of Mount Sollube where the Provincial Council of Vizcaya plans to build a tunnel through which all of the BI-631 will become Highway. It is also projected variant Bermeo, linking roads and BI-631 BI-2235 in the area south of the town.

By railway

Euskotren offers several railway lines linking the town directly to Bilbao and localities that are in its path, and transshipment through the towns of East Vizcaya and Guipuzcoa .

St. Mary of the Tala

Built in 1310 and torn down by its poor condition in the eighteenth century, was built on the site of the current psychiatric hospital. Bermeo town hall

Gaztelugatxe

Gaztelugatxe is a small island town of Bilbao in Bermeo, Basque Country . It is linked to the mainland by a bridge of two arches. Along with other small neighboring island of Aqueche, is a biotope protected, which stretches from the town of Baqui to Machichaco out in the Bay of Biscay .Access can be done from the road linking with Baqui Bermeo (BI-3101). The best time to visit is spring or autumn, to enjoy the peace of the place. In summer it gets very crowded.

Aquech Island

Aquech Island, also called Aqueche is an island located in the vicinity of Machichaco out in the town of Bizkaia of Bermeo in the Basque Country, Spain .It has three hectares and is a sparsely vegetated stony bulk and appearance of rock, almost unapproachable. It is a sanctuary for breeding seabirds. It is adjacent to the peninsula of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, but it is lower. Along with these are a protected biotope.

Izaro Island

IZAR is an island of the sea Cantabria situated on the coast of Biscay, off the towns of Bermeo and Mundaka at a distance of 3 km of the first and 2.2 km of the second. However, the territory belongs to the town of Bermeo. The island is the center of the mouth of the estuary of Mundaka, and is flanked by the ends of Ogoño and Machichaco. Aritzatxu

Casino

Designed by the architect Severino Achucarro, is located in the town of Bermeo, Vizcaya. It was built in 1894 and collapsed in 1983 as a result of flooding. Church of Santa Maria Assunta

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta is the newest of Bermeo. Puerta de San Juan

La Puerta de San Juan in Bermeo is an architectural element that is defensive in nature today as one of the few vestiges of the fence that surrounded the medieval town of Bermeo.
