Baneres Castle

Castle Baths is a source strength Almohad built in the thirteenth century which stands on the hill of the Eagle in the geographic center of Baneres, at an altitude of 830 m.The castle, irregularly shaped, has two campuses and adapts to the ground. Its most significant is their main tower of 17 meters. has a square and three floors and is made of mud. The remains of walls, also made with mud, have pockets made at a later time and dominated arches with keystones. Font Bona Tower

The tower is a tower Font Bona fortified sixteenth century located in Baneres. When built it was isolated and was used to control the roads, but is now attached to other houses. Valencia Museum of Paper

The Valencian Museum Paper (in Valencia Valencia Paper Museum) was inaugurated on March 25 of 1997 in the tower of the Font Bona Baneres. Municipal Archaeological Museum

The Municipal Archaeological Museum opened in 1991 in Torre de la Font Bona, restored for this purpose, and contains the findings from the 1960's numerous sites in the municipality, as the Ull de Canals, the Benasaiz Assud of the Serrella, the Bona or Assago Font de Sant Jordi, among others, thanks to the work of Local Archaeological Group.
The museum is spread over four floors. On the ground floor presents information on the tower, its excavation and restoration, as well as some of the materials found in it. The first floor contains the findings of time prehistoric, most notably a skull trepanned bagasse found in them. On the second floor presents the vestiges Iberian, Roman, Islamic and Christians, among them the objects of use found at the site daily Andalusian Serrella. The third floor houses temporary exhibitions and information on the various sites in the municipality and the brocket of the tower.

Parish Church of St. Mary of Mercy
