By air

Altet Airport 22 km in the town of Elche.

By road

Aspe is far from 5 km of Novelda,  7 Monforte del Cid,  8 Hondon de las Nieves,  9 km from Elche,  12 km from Crevillente and La Romana,  24 km from Alicante,  Murcia 57 km,  190 km from Valencia and 395 km from Madrid.It is accessed from Alicante by the CV-847 from the motorway Alicante -Madrid ( A-31 ),  coming from Madrid by the N-325 and CV-825 from Monforte del Cid. Also,  from the Mediterranean motorway ( A-7 ),  from leaving Elche, Aspe by the CV-84. Aspe begins at CV-845 in the direction of the Friars Hondon and Barbarossa, on the border with Murcia. Coming from the Vega Baja is accessed through the N-325 from Crevillente.

By bus

It also has bus station located in the C / Lepanto,  with regular service to much of the province and other Spanish cities.

Basilica of Our Lady of Good Help

The Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Socorro is situated in the Alicante town of Aspe in the province of Alicante. A magnificent baroque building Valenciano which began construction in 1650 and which for many is "the jewel in the diocese of Orihuela. " It is certainly the most representative building of the town and one of the most artistic of all the province.The Parish of Nuestra Señora del Socorro was founded in 1602 and its first building was the old Arab mosque which houses during the construction of the rest of the temple.

City Hall

Like the Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy,  in the Plaza Mayor are the historical building of City Hall,  which was once the Palace of Altamira. Built in the s. Cutting XVII Renaissance façade of stone arches and porticos set,  the middle of the arcades are carved stone coat of arms. Through its popular bow,  the Plaza Mayor communicates with the Avenue of the Constitution. Currently and remodeling houses after the Magistrates Court,  the Municipal Archives and some municipal offices. His steps are complemented with a permanent exhibition of photographs of Mayors with whom he has told the town of Aspe. After its restoration in 2002,  lost the previous bell tower,  not as old as the building,  but whose condition was replaced by a much simpler and smaller.

Castle River

The Castle River is located 4 kilometers from the town of Aspe ( Middle Vinalopo ),  on a mound near the confluence of Tarafa the river Vinalopo, from your location you can also see the Castillo de la Mola in Novelda and Tower Monforte del Cid.
It is a fortress located on a hill called "Tabay" near the confluence of the Vinalopo Tarafa,  3 km from the modern village. Originally Almoravid, particularly the first third of the twelfth century, was the first settlement of Aspe core,  known as "Old Aspe" nevertheless,  in the vicinity have also found traces of an earlier settlement in the Iberian period.

Castle Aljau

The archaeological remains of the Castle of Aljau Aspe appeared after a series of excavations between 2009 and 2010 within the city limits,  on the side of the river between the bridge Tarafa Bathing and Castle Avenue. However,  as was known prior to this date,  the existence of remains of a castle in this area.

Bridges and Aqueducts

The monumental grandeur of the town of Aspe is seen not only in urban areas,  but the entire municipal area is steeped in historical buildings of various kinds that show the needs of their ancestors to improve their quality of life. One of the monuments that attract the most attention are the bridges and culverts extended by various local places,  especially the water pipe system s. XVIII which carried water to Elche. Built by the architect Jose Gonzalvez of Coniedo Aspens between 1785 and 1789,  this is a great work of hydraulic engineering of about 15 km water leading to Elche. There are still many sections of the canal and some of the aqueducts that had to be constructed to save the unevenness and irregularities of the place of "The Canyons" which runs through this drive.

Archaeological Museum

It consists of pieces from private collections and research conducted at the sites of the municipality,  with a timeline that extends from the Lower and Middle Palaeolithic,  Bronze Age,  Iberian Culture,  Roman Era to the Times Arabic. Despite not having a large size,  has some interesting archaeological finds and remarkable archaeological information on the aspens.

Ethnographic Museum

Leveraging elements of the original environment of the House "Cisco",  along with other objects mainly from donations,  the museum is divided into five sections that make reference to oil,  grain,  wine,  crafts and everyday life. In these halls showing the traditional life of Aspe mostly in the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth,  approaching the customs and traditions of our ancestors. This museum highlights the explanatory panels of many buildings that can be found throughout the municipality.
