How to Reach

By air

Angelholm Airport is located north of the city and use the runways from the former air squadron F 10 . From here there are domestic flights to the island of Gotland and Stockholm ( Bromma and Arlanda). Charter flights are also present, including the Rhodes and Mallorca. Charter operations is at times quite limited.

By roads

On the outskirts of Angelholm crosses the highway E6 / E20 . The resort is also the start / end point of Highway 13 on the Rock, Hoor and Ystad.Historically went old National Runner-up (Trelleborg Svinesund) straight through Angelholms center, past the hospital, over Karl XV's bridge and north along including the Baltic Way. As early as 1959 was, however, a first stretch of motorway outside the city, from Rebbelberga to Strovelstorp and at the end of the 1970s was on the highway over Hallandsasen.

By train

The railroad West Coast Line from Malmo to Gothenburg goes through urban western parts, near the sea and along the cove beach. Transport Administration builds over the years in 2005 - 2 011/2012 the West Coast line to double track the route Angelholm-Forslov.Angelholms station is relatively dense traffic. This will stop both the oresund between Malmo and Gothenburg and Pagatagen which has its northern terminus here. However, do not stop any of the SJ-trains at the station.

Swedish Railway Museum Angelholm

Swedish Railway Museum Angelholm in Angelholm is a museum that shows how Sweden's railways were built and how rail technology developed to date. The museum is located at Angelholms Railway Station and Railway Training .Here's railroading , signals , trolleys , switchgear , lineman , steam locomotives , carriages , a large model railway and much more.

Angelholms Aviation Museum

Angelholms Aviation Museum is a museum located inside the Valhalla Park , a former F 10's old squadron area at Barkakra The museum aims to show F 10's history, and is housed in the old third division / company's premises. The museum is run by F 10 'Club, whose purpose is to bring together former F-10 personnel and others interested in aviation to maintain friendship and honor the memory of the F 10 and follow the Air Force's development.

Angelholms Hembygdspark

Angelholms Historical Park is a folk museum in Angelholm . It has annually about 300 000 visitors. The park's museum, an inn, barbecue areas and a playground. There is also a small zoo, including fallow deer, skruvhornsget , pigs, chickens, pheasants and rabbits.The area where the park is provided, which until the early 1700's most resembled the sandy desert, was allotted to Angelholms Hembygdsforening. One of the initiators of the park, and one of those who worked most targeted to get the park into being, was Malte Liewen Stierngranat . The park was opened 1 May 1935. The southeastern corner of the site had the first park. By Stierngranat was also a replica of Carl Eldh sculpture "Mother" to the park, and now adorns "Stierngranat place." Later the park was built up with bird pond, trails and a couple of paddocks and fenced with an earth and stone wall. The first animals that were held, four fallow deer, purchased from Slottsskogen in Gothenburg.

Engelholm Marching Band

Engelholm Marching Band is a youth orchestra from Angelholm .The orchestra was founded in 1992 by Ingolf Christoffersen and Magnus Fransson. Since then the orchestra has annually conducted appreciated concerts and performances both at home and abroad. The orchestra makes every year a new figurative applications. The music is inspired by the American High School bands while marschexercisen comes from the Swedish military orchestras. Each summer, a number of summer gigs with subsequent march along Main Street in his hometown of Angelholm. These will start according to tradition on Midsummer Eve .
