How to Reach

By Air

Acarigua Airport is located west of the city and maintains flights.Before operating the airline Avior Airlines to Caracas, but problems the company ceased operations due to lack of aircraft.

By Train

CURP Park

Ten minutes from downtown Acarigua on the road to the east of the city is CURP Park, birthplace of General Jose Antonio Paez key hero in the war of independence in Venezuela.It was opened and declared a historic site on May 6, 1973, to commemorate the anniversary of his death.The park rests on approximately 70 acres of flat land and vegetation consists of trees and shrubs.At the entrance to the museum can see the avenue leading to the equestrian statue of General Paez.A few feet of the statue is located the place where the General says he was born.

Museum Jose Antonio Paez

Jose Antonio Paez Stadium
