Cathedral of Our Lady of Carmen de Villavicencio

The Cathedral of Villavicencio, officially Cathedral of Our Lady of Carmen is the cathedral church of worship Roman Catholic city located in the Colombian of Villavicencio, capital of the department of Meta. The temple is dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the advocation of the Virgin of Carmen. It is the mother church of the Archdiocese of Villavicencio and was elevated to cathedral on 11 February of 1964 by a bull of Pope Paul VI.

Christ the King Memorial

located in the upper part of the city on the hill called the Redeemer, from which we can observe the city in all its extent and beauty. Work started in 1949 by Peter Garavito Achury Elysee and opened in 1954.

Monument to the Founders

It was the last work performed by renowned Colombian sculptor, Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt, is located in the park that bears the same name on the road that leads to Villavicencio Acacias.

Biopark The Ocarros
