By Air

Udine is served by the only airport for commercial aviation in this region, the airport of Friuli-Venezia Giulia Ronchi in the province of Gorizia.The nearest airport to Udine Campoformido is open but only for tourist traffic and sports.Remember also that a few kilometers from Udine is the seat of the military airport Aimed Tricolour Arrows.

By Train

Far East Film Festival

is an event dedicated to Asian cinema, and has been called "the richest film festival in Eastern Europe." Civic museums and galleries in history and art

Diocesan Museum and Galleries of Tiepolo

was founded in 1963 by Msgr. Zaffoni Joseph, Archbishop of Udine ( 1956 - 1972 ) with the aim to preserve and promote cultural heritage of the ecclesiastical diocese.The first location was the basement of the Museum of the Archbishop's Seminary in the city, but already before the earthquake of 1976 it began its transformation into the Patriarchal Palace, former residence of the patriarchs of Aquileia and then (from 1571 ) of the Archbishops of Udine: This building is princiapli one of the monuments of the city of Friuli.The building was severely damaged by the earthquake, was restored and the museum officially opened to the public on 29 April 1995.The collection includes about 700 works, including frescoes by Giambattista Tiepolo, who decorated several rooms of the palace at the behest of the patriarch Dionisio Dolfin.The museum tour is spread over three levels.

Cormor Park
