Oginski Palace

Diocesan Museum in Siedlce

was founded in 1918 by an initiative of Fr.bp.Henry Przezdziecki as a museum of the Diocese of Podlasie, based in Janow Podlaski.In 1924 the museum will be moved (along with the diocese) to Siedlce.The museum building is the episcopal curia.1991 years is moved to new headquarters at ul.Swirski.In the years one thousand nine hundred ninety-two-1999 were carried out major work to adapt the premises for the purpose of the museum.The museum has many exhibits that are constantly subjected to restoration work.The most valuable is the only one in Poland picture painted by El Greco Ecstasy of St. Francis.
