By train

KTM Subang Jaya station, on the KTM Komuter Klang-Sentul line, is at the northern edge of Subang Jaya. It is located directly behind Carrefour and Subang Parade in SS16.

The KTM Komuter is a convenient mode of transport both to central locations in the city and towns in the neighbouring states (north - Perak, south - Negeri Sembilan)

By bus

There are a number of bus services that connect points in Malaysia and Singapore directly to Subang Jaya, bypassing Kuala Lumpur and its traffic jams. Aeroline and Transtar buses operate from Sunway Pyramid, while First Coach [4] runs from the Holiday Villa hotel in SS12.

By taxi

All metered taxis operating in Kuala Lumpur also serve Subang Jaya.

By car

Getting into Subang Jaya is a breeze (as long as you avoid rush hours). It is well connected to most major highways:

Federal Highway - cuts through most major areas in Klang Valley including Petaling Jaya, central Kuala Lumpur,  Shah Alam and Klang. No toll charges

New Pantai Expressway (NPE) - to Bandar Sunway and Subang Jaya (SS12-SS19)

Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP) - to Putra Heights and UEP Subang Jaya

New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) - to Subang Jaya (cuts through Subang Airport Highway)

Kesas Highway - to UEP Subang Jaya (3 exits to USJ from Kuala Lumpur)

Subang Airport Highway - to UEP Subang Jaya (USJ) and Subang Jaya

Subang Ria Park

Subang Ria Park, SS12. A beautiful 29.96 acres lake in the city. It is easily accessible by public transport and there are ample parking spaces for private vehicles. It is also home to the famous seafood restaurant Crocodile Farm and the largest paintball park (TT Sports Park) in Malaysia.

Ampang Recreational Forest

Ampang Recreational Forest or taman rimba ampang lies 13.5 km east of central Kuala Lumpur.it is easily accessible from the federal capital and provides a golden opportunity to visitors to relax their minds after a week of hard work in the hectic city life. The cool and clear river flowing through Ampang Recreational Forest is indeed a haven for picnickers. Visitors will enjoy the dipping in the river, splashing water with their friends and loved ones. Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam

It has succeeded amazingly in presenting a large part of rural Malaysia in a nutshell-some 1258 hectares in all. Those who appreciate beauty will find serenity in the mere smell of grass, richness in the colour of live-giving chlorophyll and strength in a solid trunk.

Tropical Fruits Garden and Arboretum in Bukit Cahaya where there's a living collection of fruit and trees. One can also visit the Mushroom Garden which is the home to several species of cultivated mushrooms. The Animal Park, spread over 72 hectares of land, houses several types of livestock. Among those that you'll get to see are goats, rabbits, cows and sheep. Across from Animal Park is the Aviary, comprising massive cages and housing a number of species of local and other exotic birds from many lands. The heart of soul of Bukit Cahaya must be the Forestry Arboretum where the art and science of agro-forestry come to life.

Proton Malaysia Headquarters

Proton Malaysia Headquarters (Proton Holdings Berhad), Taman Perisdustrian Sime UEP. It is the largest Proton showroom in the Klang Valley and can be seen from the KESAS expressway

Lotus Cars

Lotus Cars (Proton Holdings Berhad), Taman Perisdustrian Sime UEP. It is the only Lotus showroom in the Klang Valley and is alongside the Proton headquarters.
