Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok

the first and largest in terms of quantity museum objects collected ethnographic founded in Poland after World War II.It is located on the right bank of the San River in the foothills of the White Mountains in the band -Turczanskich Sanocko Mountains.Ethnographic park occupies an area of 38 hectares.The Museum is open all year round.The museum was founded in 1958 on the initiative of Alexander Rybicki and regional conservator George Tur.The museum displays folk culture in the area bordering the foothills and the eastern part of the Polish Carpathians (Bieszczady, Low Beskid).These are areas that the forties were inhabited by a number of ethnographic groups which are a group of Polish Foothills, Boykos, Lemko and Zamieszancy are groups of Ruthenian.As a result of the war and the actions of state authorities in the postwar years brought to disperse groups in the area and break the continuity of Russian culture in the lands inhabited by them.

Historical Museum in Sanok

Sanok Castle

Adam Mickiewicz park

is a festival performers of classical music and opera, held annually from December 1989 in Sanok, usually in the third week of September.The festival takes place on the stage of Sanok Culture and the Church of the Transfiguration, the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and Christ the King in Sanok.This is an annual event organized by Sanok Culture.Director of the festival from 1992 is Waldemar Szybiak.By 1997 the event was a didurowskich Days of Music, and from 1997 to the present is in the form of the festival.Patron and donor of the festival are the District Office and District Council of Sanok.The name of the festival originated and is associated with the name of world-renowned soloist Adam Didur considered one of the finest bass late nineteenth and early twentieth century.The festival takes place the Composers Competition.Adam Didur and numerous workshops: literature, photography, dancing, singing and meetings with writers and art cinema.
