Ross on Wye from the River Wye

During daylight hours these live webcams show the current weather as well as the river levels. This should be especially useful during times of flooding and during high water in general. The camera on the left is located at the White Lion Inn, Wilton, Ross-on-Wye and that on the right, at Rose Cottage Tea Garden, Symonds Yat East. Goodrich Castle

Goodrich stands majestically on a wooded hill commanding the passage of the River Wye into the picturesque valley of Symonds Yat. The castle was begun in the late 11th century, by the English thegn Godric who gave it his name.

Ross on Wye Market Place

The Market Place, Ross-on-Wye, runs from the High Street down to the point where it meets Broad Street between the Crown and Sceptre Inn and Going Places on the west side, WH Smiths and Superdrug on the east side and to the south by the High Street.
