Terri Park

Artificial tip from the high 20's of XX century with coal ash and slag from the washing and distilling coals and shales of Calatrava. With a height of 80 meters left to be used in the 60's, when the company closed its Penarroya. In 2008, the City Council in its efforts to preserve and give value to the mining heritage, planning the transformation of this mound in a green area for recreation and leisure of the population. Fuente Agria

It is the most representative monument of Puertollano.It was not until 1676 when Dr. Alfonso Limon Montero made known the beneficial properties of sour water for various conditions by the literary work "Mirror crystalline waters of Spain." Monument to Mining

The monument was built with the idea of immortalizing Puertollano mining roots. He was executed by the sculptor Jose Noja and is located next to St. Augustine bridge, which links the city center with the suburbs mining of "Carmen" and "Las Mercedes". This monument was inaugurated on May 4, 2000. The set is a single piece of bronze whose measurements are 2.7 x 4.5 x 2.3 meters. Threat of mining
All mining town unfortunately have to pay a toll in human lives into the bowels of the earth.

Paseo de San Gregorio
