Pozarevac is a city and municipality in eastern Serbia. It is the administrative center of the Braničevo District of Serbia. In 2002, the city had total population of 41,736, while the municipality had 74,902 residents.
In Serbian, the city is known as Pozarevac, in Romanian as Pojarevat or Podu Lung, in Turkish as Pasarofca, in German as Passarowitz, and in Hungarian as Pozsarevac.
Its name means "fire-town" in Serbian (Here "fire" is in the meaning of a disaster).

By plane

Belgrade International Airport is about 100km away from Pozarevac.
You can reach Pozarevac by rented car, taxi or by bus from Belgrade bus station.

By bus

From Belgrade there is a regular bus transport every hour.
