Church of St. Barbara
is a Roman Catholic parish part of the deanery pionkowskiego the Diocese of Radom.Since St. Barbara is the patroness of all people working in hazardous conditions for life (miners, steelworkers, chemical plant workers) so the parish was placed under her care.Three-nave church was designed in the style of Baroque on the plan of a Latin cross (crux ordinaria) by Stefan Schiller ( 1857 - 1933 ) the famous Polish architect and conservator.Inside is designed by Antoni Chmielewski altar and three others: the Heart of God the Transfiguration and Our Lady of Czestochowa along with a copy placed in him the image of Our Lady of Jasna Gora.Culmination of the eastern aisle is a chapel dedicated to Our Lady's care.
Church of St. Mary in Pionki
