Melk Abbey

The Benedictine Abbey of Melk is located in Lower Austria near the town of Melk on the right bank of the Danube. As a symbol of the Wachau, it belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Described it as "sinnbildlichstes dominant and famous baroque buildings".It also houses the Stiftsgymnasium Melk, the oldest existing school in Austria. Abbot of the monastery is Georg Wilfinger.

Mary's Assumption Church

The parish church of the Assumption is a Roman Catholic church in the city of Melk in Lower Austria .The location of the original church of St. Peter, is unknown. In 1020 the parish area was from the diocese of Passau, a St. Stephen's Church, whose location probably east of the Melk Abbey was surrendered. End of the 15th Century was due to expiration of the parish church of St. Stephen at St. Mary's Church in the city, which was rebuilt to 1481st St. Mary's church was in 1693 by the Diocese of Passau to Melk Abbey. In 1961 a new steeple was placed in the years 1992 to 1993, it was an interior renovation, from 1997 to 1998, an exterior renovation.

Church of the Redeemer

The Church of the Redeemer milking Scheibbs is a Protestant church in the town of Melk in Lower Austria.
