Church of St. Barbara

The building was built between 1908-1912 at the then Freedom Square built by the community of religion Lutheran.After World War II handed him the Roman Catholic parish of St. Barbara.By this time the parish was in the monastery chapel of the Sisters Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary.During the renovation carried out in 1951 was placed in the main altar painting of St. Barbara and the vault covered with paintings.Rebuilt the choir which has been reduced.The Church is entered in the register of monuments.

Monument to the Sower

Monument built in 1923, is one of the oldest monuments Lubon.The work of artist sculptor Martin Rozek permanently inscribed in the landscape of the park on the street Army of Poznan.Nearly three-meter-high monument Sower, representing Slav farmer sowing the corn made of bronze and granite.Monument purchased chemical company Dr.Roman May of Lubon.Martin Horn also carved the basis on which stood the image of the sower is six meters plinth with a fountain decorated with representations of dolphins.The whole set in a garden jordanowskim near the settlements inhabited by the technical staff group.

Church of St. John Bosco

The increasing number of residents and Zabikowa Lubon, sparked the need to create a new parish.In 1931 years tied to a temporary church building committee.Since 1933 years the pastor of the parish Zabikowskiej was Fr. Stanislaw Streich, who actively joined in the activities of the committee.In autumn 1934, Father Streich acquired from the Poznan University land for the construction of the future temple Sawicki Architect prepared a draft structure and directed the work of Francis Reszelski.6 October 1935, Fr.Stanislaw Streich celebrated the first mass on a side aisle of the emerging church of St. Nicholas John Bosco.

Never war monument

is an antiwar statue located in Lubon, Poland on the site of a former German internment camp known as Zabikowo.The monument was designed and built by Jozef Goslawski in 1955, using granite and sandstone.It was unveiled 4 November 1956 by General Zygmunt Berling.The monument depicts a man embracing a woman and child.On the pedestal is an inscription: NEVER WAR.

Museum of martyrdom in Zabikowo

Museum of martyrdom in Zabikowo near Poznan was founded in 1976, carries out its statutory tasks of caring for the grounds and facilities which are the remains of the Nazi camps operating in the years 1941-1945 and the object of the camp for interned in 1945-1948 the German civilian population.Space museum about 3 hectares extending over a length of almost 0.5 km directly along the A2 motorway - is also commemorated with monuments related to the martyrdom of Poles, Jews, Luxembourgers, citizens of the former Soviet Union and other nations.The history museum is constantly documented.In the archives of the museum are hundreds of photos from different periods of the Museum.A small part of this documentation is presented in the form of photos grouped by decades.
