Fortress soimos

Fortress soimos is on the right bank of the Mures, opposite Lipova and above the village of the same name, on the hill Cioaca Taut. It was built after the first invasion of the Tatars in the area and is documented since 1278.The fortress was built by the late thirteenth century by a noble family. First document dates from 1278, when Pal donate money "Somos Castrum" sons of his brother. Its role has grown steadily from Prince Ladislaus Kan II who ruled the city through two intermediaries who were also committing Arad: Alexander (1310) and Dominic (1311). After 1315 comes a royal, the residence of Arad vicecomitilor commit.

Lipova City Museum

Lipova City Museum founded in 1952 and housed in Misici Castle, built in the nineteenth century. Along with numerous medieval art and a collection of old Romanian books, museum includes collections of art Costescu Eleonora 's and Basil Varga.

Maria Radna

Monastery and pilgrimage church "Maria Radna" was built in several stages. The beginnings of this holy shrine link to the Roman Catholic Franciscan order of monks, who founded it around 1551. The church, begun in 1756 and completed 26 years later, is characterized by the altar of Carrara marble that sits St. Mary icon. Behind it can be admired the work of I.Roskovics, the Annunciation.

Turkish Bazaar

Turkish Bazaar dates from the second Ottoman rule and impressive size. The facade consists of 8 pillars cylindrical bound together by arches which guard a large commercial passage. Central building is dominated by a triangular frontispiece.
