Landskrona Castle

Landskrona Castle, the Citadel, a fortress of Landskrona , SkAne County .Citadel is one of the best preserved fortresses water from the 1500s with a well preserved moat system . It has also been imprisoned . There is both an ancient dungeon and a prison tower.Now owned by Citadel National Property Board . The castle is used for festivities and guided tours. Christian III of Denmark had built the Citadel in Landskrona 1549-1559. It was from the outset intended purely as a defense plant. The ground plan was square and the castle was surrounded by a seventy-meter wide moat. The main row of the channel was heavily armed. Guarantees other sites were protected by barrier walls with corner towers.

Landskrona Museum

Landskrona museum collections and exhibitions depicting events and people in Landskrona's history. Apart from permanent exhibitions display some 15 temporary exhibitions each year. Town Hall Square

Sofia Albertina church is a church building belonging to Landskrona parish , diocese of Lund and Landskrona municipality . It is located in the center of Landskrona , across from City Hall.The church began in 1754 and was designed by Carl Harleman . 1788 the church was consecrated by the name Sofia Albertina church, a name it received after Gustav III 's sister Sofia Albertina . The church replaced a 1400-century church that they had to tear when you thought it was too close to the city's fortress. The north tower is since 1967 a carillon with 43 bells two swinging bells. The south tower has two bells swinging.
