Vlasserij-Sugar Museum

The National Vlasserij-Sugar Museum is a museum Klundert which is located at the Dike Stew 1a.The museum covers the crops of flax and sugar beet , and its operations and products arising from it, such as linen , linseed oil , and sugar . This includes devices for flax processing and equipment used in sugar mills and was applied. A large number of sugar products from the past and present is exhibited.There will be demonstrations on flax processing, such as brake, vomiting, berate and scutching.

City Hall Klundert

The Town Hall is a building at City Hall Klundert Ring 1 to Klundert .Built in 1621 building designed by Melchior from Herbach in Mannerist style. It has two gables , between which a gable roof is attached. Above the entrance, which has a platform with stairways, there is a gable decorated with claw pieces , obelisks and a broken pediment . Then there is a statue of Lady Justice .The richly decorated with stone ornaments appearance of the building has changed little over the centuries, but the decor has changed dramatically. Between 1950 and 1953 the building was restored.

Fortifications of Klundert

Klundert the fortifications built in 1584-1588, designed by Adriaen Anthonisz . The fortifications consisted of including various bastions , an earthen wall and a moat . The canal was fed with water from the Roode Vaart . The fortifications on the north and south sides of Klundert are well preserved. The crown work Suykerbergh restored in 1948. The canal is a work of the crown bricks bear with monks . On the north side at the intersection of Dull Creek with shore leave in the street is a yellow brick bridge in 1769 . The current situation differs in many respects from the original design as seen in the Atlas Blaeu from Joan Blaeu .Because Klundert reinforced fortress was a strategic location, it became part of the Theorem of the Hollands Diep and the Volkerak . John the Baptist Church

John the Baptist Church, to Molenstraat 31-33, was originally a neo-Gothic cruciform church from 1890 , designed by Peter John of Genk . The church replaced a predecessor from 1806 , which was demolished in 1890. John the Baptist Church was established in 1944 severely damaged. The tower was never rebuilt and the rebuilt church was a neo-Romanesque west façade. It was in 1947 back into service.

The Reformed Church

The Reformed Church in Kerkring 1, was consecrated in 1952 and replaced in 1944 destroyed predecessor. It is a simple church hall which was designed by AP Smith.
