Naval Museum

Naval Museum in Karlskrona is a state museum with a focus on Swedish naval defense, and here is told the Swedish Navy's history. The foundation of the museum was laid in 1752 when King Adolf Fredrik established the Navy's model chamber where they primarily gathered the ship models that were produced by each vessel.1953-1997 was the Naval Museum in the former ship's boy Barracks outside the naval harbor, since June 1997 is the museum on the island Stumholmen in central Karlskrona. The Naval Museum is included in the National Maritime Museums (SMM) with the Vasa Museum and the Maritime Museum in Stockholm.
The building is renowned for its architecture where the building extends to a pier into the water. Around the pier is home to several museum ships, including Sweden's last full-rigged ship HMS Jarramas , minesweeper HMS Bremon , motor torpedo boat T38 and missile boat HMS Vastervik who were around during the incident with the Soviet submarine U137 .

Vasa Museum

Vasa Museum is a museum at Galarvarvet in southern Djurgarden in Stockholm . The museum houses since June 15, 1990 warship Vasa and is part of the National Maritime Museums .At the Vasa Museum's 1600-century ship, warship Vasa that was salvaged in 1961 after naval engineer Anders Franzen found the wreckage and ran a long campaign that it would be towed. In the beginning was the Vasa in a temporary building, called "Wasa Shipyard", further south.

National Maritime Museum

Frederick Church

Frederick Church is a church in Karlskrona city parish . The church is part of Karlskrona World which was included on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998 .The church, located on the Main Square in Karlskrona, construction began September 9, 1720. The first stone was laid by the then Governor Salomon von Otter. August 25 the following year was due to the wall finished, but it would take until 1744 before the church could be consecrated. At the inauguration was the Crown Prince Adolf Fredrik present. The name of the church was, however, by King Frederick I . steeples that were initially thought to have steeples, was not ready until 1758
