Episcopal Cathedral of Husi

"St. Apostles Peter and Paul" in Husi is an Orthodox church in the city of Husi ( Vaslui ). It was built by Prince Stephen the Great (1457-1504) in 1495, was rebuilt from the foundation by Bishop Innocent of Husi during 1753-1756. This church served as the cathedral of the Diocese of Husi between 1598-1949, and after re Bishopric of Husi in 1996 and resumed that role. It is located at MK Street no. 19.Husi whole Diocese was included on list of historical monuments in Vaslui County in 2004, with classification code VS-II-aA-06 839 and is comprised.

Around the church was an old cemetery which is still preserved some tombstones with inscriptions in Romanian with Cyrillic characters. The inscriptions are almost erased.
