Hunedoara Castle

Hunedoara Castle, called Corvin Castle, the Corvin or Hunyadi, is the city medieval Hunedoara, one of the most important monuments of Gothic architecture in Romania. It was built in the fifteenth century by John Hunyadi in an old fortifications, on a rock at the foot of flowing stream Zlasti. It is an imposing building, equipped with towers, bastions and a dungeon. High building roofs and covered with colored tiles. The castle was restored and turned into a museum.The fortress was one of the largest and most famous properties of John Hunyadi.

Monastery Prislop

Prislop Monastery is a monastery in Romania near the village of Upper Silvasu of Hunedoara county. For almost seven centuries, it is one of the most important Orthodox religious settlements in Transylvania.No known early monastery. Because it was located on land that had kept the Romanian nobles of Ciula, it can be assumed that they were secular foundations of the slot. Furnace of Govajdia

Furnace at Govajdia, county Hunedoara, west end is Govajdia village, 20 km from the city of Hunedoara (10 km narrow railway embankment).
