Bandurria Archaeological Site

The Archaeological Site Bandurria owes its name to be located in the Pampa de la Bandurria, a small bird that was typical of the area (Theristicus Branicknii) is located 10 km south of Huacho and is one of the oldest civilizations America.With a length of around 5,000 years, corresponding chronologically to the period known as Late Archaic or Late Preceramic covering the years from about 4,000 to 2,000 BC.The archaeological site is located Bandurria in Huacho district, province of Huaura, Lima in Peru, in the area called Playa Chica to kilometer 141 of the Panamericana Norte.The archaeological site covers an area of 54 hectares and is being studied by a team led by archaeologist Alejandro Chu graduated from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima.

The enchanted lake
