By Train

In 1877 the city received the rail (electrified in 1983) after construction of the last section of the Odra Trunk Line Wroclaw - Szczecin with the now defunct Chojna Szczecin railway station of Wroclaw.In 1885 the line was opened by Gryfino Chwarstnice and Banie to Swobnica closed in 1986 and in 1987 was demolished section Swobnica - Banie.Episode Banie - Chwarstnica was demolished in 2006.Since the year 1898 with Gryfino could get to Pyrzyce by Chwarstnice.The line closed in 1996 and in 2009 was demolished.With Gryfino could still reach the Dabie by Chwarstnice and Old Czarnowo.

Church of St. Nicholas

late Romanesque-Gothic parish church, formerly dedicated St.Nicholas, the building is a single-span, three-aisled hall with a transept (transverse nave), rectangular choir (chancel), and a square western tower in plan.Simple closed chancel, transept and nave in its plan form the Greek cross, beginning of construction of the church dates back to 1278, in which Prince Barnim I gave patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church temple in Szczecin.Foundation of the altar in 1300 associated with the completion of the eastern part of the church and so the chancel and transept.These parties were built of stone blocks with brick in the architectural detail.The second phase of construction would be completed in 1325, when Duke Otto I founded another altar.

Banska Gate

built in the fourteenth century then modernized in 1864, 1979, 1984.The whole solid block gate is 15.3 m high, up to 11.75 m is built of field stone and the superstructure in the fifteenth century with a brick by a further 3.55 meters.External dimensions are gate 8m x 8.5 m, wall thickness journey - 1.65 m East, West (with a staircase in the thickness of the wall) 2.20 m.The great lancet opening above passage from the city gate was walled up after the year 1500.

Lions Mansion
