Skiing Ski Roundhill, This summer there are some great developments taking place. The "Two Thumb cafe" is being redeveloped and will double in size, we will have a new ticket office with 4 ticket windows to get you on the slopes faster and we are moving the A-Frame building off the Learners area to make more room for your BBQ's and deck chairs!

Golf Fairlie Golf Club, Fairlie Golf Club has an 18 hole course on Talbot St, inside the town boundary. It is a well groomed, flat course with a challenging par 70 layout with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The Club welcome visitors and green fees are cheap at $10 per round. Hire clubs are available from Aorangi and Pinewood Motels.Major tournaments are the Fairlie 500, which is a 72hole mens tournament held on the 3rd weekend in March. There is also the Ladies Glencairn which is a pairs tournament held in April and always attracts capacity fields.
