Cauchie House

The Cauchie House of Paul Cauchie is one of the masterpieces of Art Nouveau.The building is located in Etterbeek (Brussels) at the Frank Street 5 at the edge of the Cinquantenaire.The property was built in 1905, and Guy and Leona Dessicy saved from demolition.The Cauchie house is one of the museums in Brussels.It is to visit every first weekend of the month.Visitors get a guided tour of the basement and ground floor.The upper floors are inhabited in 2007 by Guy and Leona Dessicy who regularly act as a guide.The nearest metro station metro station Merode.

Cinquantenaire Park

The Cinquantenaire is a park in the Belgian capital Brussels, which was created by order of King Leopold II in 1880 the fiftieth anniversary of Belgian independence to celebrate.In honor of that celebration was then the National Exhibition held in the park.In 1897 here was the World Exhibition held.The park houses the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, the Great Mosque of Brussels and the Brussels Green Service.The Temple of the human passions is a neoclassical pavilion that was built in 1896 by Victor Horta.The temple is a bas-relief of Jef Lambeaux eight by twelve meters to see.The temple is controversial because the relief was most of its existence remained closed.Each year the park the start of the 20 km of Brussels.Under the Cinquantenaire runs Cinquantenaire Tunnel.

Jean Felix Hap

The Jean Felix Hap is a public park in the Belgian municipality of Etterbeek, Brussels is located.The park stretches along the Hapstraat Louis, between the Waversesteenweg and Auderghem Avenue.In the Jean Felix Hap escapes the Broebelaar.The Dutch library of Etterbeek on one side of the park.

Jubilee Park

The park is home to around Arcades Cinquantenaire many museums (Museum of the Army, Aviation Museum, Museum Autoworld, Royal Museums of Art and History) but also the largest mosque in Belgium and a monument architecture of Victor Horta and many statues.The Cinquantenaire used regularly to organize events of all kinds: start and finish of 20 km of Brussels (running race which annually brings together 20,000 participants, 25,000 since 2009), celebrates the environment, party biking, concerts, festivals, events, drive-in movie outdoor cinema July and August.

Leopold Park

The Leopold Park consists of a public space and historic buildings.It is located in the valley of Maelbeek, bordering the town of Etterbeek, at the foot of the European district and the Museum of Natural Sciences of Belgium.In and around the park are the European Parliament, a clinic called Leopold Park Clinic and various buildings of the former campus of the University of Brussels.The place reflects the existence of an ancient medieval domain: hidden among the trees, we discover the Tour D Eggevoort, the remainder of a castle of the fifteenth century.The park's history begins in 1851, when the place is granted to the "Royal Society of Zoology, Horticulture and Accreditation" who creates a zoo and amusement for worldly pleasures of the time.
