Cruise San Francisco Estremoz

The Cruise of San Francisco Estremoz is situated in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. The cruise in local marble, is a use of parts of different origins, possibly mounted in the seventeenth century. The set consists of two steps and an octagonal shaft of three small columns plaited and original elements of the sixteenth century. The casket which is at the bottom is clearly baroque. The cross, with arms topped Latin cloverleaf, has more modern features than the other elements of the set, possibly eighteenth century.

Parish Church of St. Peter

The Parish Church of St. Peter is located in the parish of Evoramonte,  Municipality of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. Building being classified (IIP approved as - Property of Public Interest), since 2003,by IGESPAR,  is open to the public to visit.

Golden Eagle Cafe

Cafe Golden Eagles or Eagles Cafe D'Ouro is situated in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. It was classified as IIP - Property of Public Interest in 2002.The building was built in 1908 and inaugurated on April 4, 1909. The architect of the project was Jorge Santos Costa.Rectangular houses three floors, and to highlight the huge windows and balconies of the upper floors of style Art Nouveau,  built complex with iron guards with geometric motifs and stained glass windows executed in green, brown and blue

Castle Veiros

Castle Veiros in Upper Alentejo,  located in the village and parish of Veiros,  county Estremoz district of Evora in Portugal. In a dominant position on a steep hill, the Middle Ages belonged to the defense made by the castles of Monforte,  Campo Maior and Ouguela. Today is part of the Tourist-Area Promotional Plains.

Gathered Convent

The Convento de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao Congregados the Oratory of Saint Philip Nery Estremoz, also known as the Convent of the Gathered, is situated in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. The palace of D. Constantino de Braganza was built in the sixteenth century, having been confiscated by the Crown in 1640, by D. Nuno Alvares Pereira de Melo,  Duke of Cadaval,  and later donated for installation of the Convent of the Gathered, which was begun in 1698 by order of D. Pedro II

Palace of Henriques

The Palace or the Palace of Henriques Torch is located in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. Palace built in the early eighteenth century to the residence of Captain Barnabas Henriques and his familyD. Pedro V and his entourage spent the night here in 1860. In the twentieth century served as a hotel.

Chapel D. Fradique de Portugal

The Chapel of D. Fradique de Portugal is within the Church of the Convent of San Francisco,  in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal Buildings classified as National Monument since 1922,is open to the public daily from 14 to 19 hours. The chapel was built in 1539 in style Manueline,  by order of D. Fradique de Portugal,  Bishop of Calatrava, Segovia and Sigüenza,  archbishop of Zaragoza,  Viceroy of Catalonia and son of the Count of Faro,  Odemira and Vimieiro. Was instituted to the pantheon of his family, who had the lordship of Estremoz

Cloister of Mercy Estremoz

The Cloister of Mercy Estremoz also called Cloister of the Convent of the Maltese is located in the Convent of S. John of Penance Order of Malta or the Maltese Convent, located in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. The cloister of the convent was classified as a National Monument in 1924. It is open to the public to visit: Monday 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 20:00. Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 20:00. Saturdays and Sundays from 10h00 to 20h00

St. Francis Church

The convent of Saint Francis Church is located in the parish of St. Andrew,  in the County of Estremoz,  District of Evora,  Portugal. It was built where there was already a chapel dedicated to S. Benedict, in the reign of D. Afonso III (1248-1279), whose coat appears in the closing arc of the main chapel.Buildings classified as National Monument, along with the tomb of Gatuz Esteves,  since 1924,is open to the public daily from 14 to 19 hours.
