Civic Hall, Eslov

Civic Hall in Eslov is to come after one of Eslov announced architectural contest. It was designed by architect Hans Asplund. The drawings came to New York in 1947 while building construction started in 1955 and was consecrated September 28 1957. The purpose of the building would be to house "lectures, dramatic and literary performances, exhibition of gymnasitik, artistic dance, cinema, and similar events which do not jeopardize the healthy and educational entertainment." The building, which is in late functionalist style, consists of three distinctly different parts: the overhead foyer, the standing hogdelen with offices and a curved part with assembly halls. All decorations, everything from lamps and furniture to the door handles and curtain, Hans Asplund himself designed. 2001 monument was declared Civic Hall and went through 2002 - 2003 an extensive interior renovation. Civic Hall in Eslov was rewarded in 2007 with the third prize - a diploma, the EU's cultural heritage organization Europa Nostra.

Stone Mountain, Eslov

EFS Church in Eslov

EFS Church in Eslov was built in 1903 under the name of Ebenezer.
