How to Reach

By train

There is only one train going into Denia, and comes from Alicante. It is also known as El trenet. Going always by the coast, it is an interesting trip (around 2,5 hours) with good sightseeing.

By bus

There are daily buses going to and coming from Madrid, Valencia and Alicante.

By boat

Ferry boats going to the Balearic Islands (Ibiza and Mallorca). During the summer there is also one going to Formentera.

Pare Pere booth

Built in the seventeenth century, is a stone house next to the chapel of the same name, on the slopes of Montgo (in Denia, Alicante) which was used by Fray Pedro Esteve during their retreat for prayer and meditation.

Church of Our Lady of the Assumption

The church of Our Lady of the Assumption located in the Plaza of the Constitution of the town of Denia, is an eighteenth century building, with reforms of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.It is built of masonry and brick, but the stonework is used throughout the socket. It has a double deck side, highlighting the central dome of blue type on an octagonal drum.Has a façade with two doors: access to the temple and the "Capella de Sant Roc Roser or".

Ermita de San Juan

The hermitage of San Juan in the municipality of Denia is located on the southern slopes of Montgo. It is accessed by way of "Pou de la Muntanya", or by way of "Santa Llucia".The chapel is part of the world of Conquest Hermitages, which were built between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, and even the sixteenth.

Denia Castle

Denia Castle is a castle that served as a fortress in the era of piracy in the Mediterranean.Located on the highest point of the town of Denia in Alicante Province, Spain .It is one of the elements that define the historical topography of the urban core. On its slopes have been found remains of houses and fortifications of the Diannium Roman .

Torre del Gerro

Gerro Tower is a watchtower located at the end of Las Rotas in Denia. Body is conical in shape that gives it its name. Stresses the arms of Carlos I.

Chapel of Santa Lucia

The hermitage of Santa Lucia in the municipality of Denia, is located in the departure of Santa Lucia, and access it by way of Santa Lucia, or a diversion of the road I Rotes.This is one of the examples of Gothic religious buildings with the type of so-called "conquest". This building would locate, chronologically, in the first half of the fifteenth century.
