Cathedral of St.Mary of the Assumption of Chilpancingo

The Cathedral of the Assumption in Chilpancingo,is the head temple of the city,is dedicated to the Virgin Mary in her title of Our Lady of the Assumption and for some years is the episcopal see of the diocese,as previously this was in the Levitical city of Chilapa Alvarez.It is located in the downtown area,within the architectural and historic civic plaza occupies the "First Congress of Anahuac." Museo de La Avispa

The Interactive Museum The Wasp is an interactive museum located in the city of Chilpancingo,Guerrero,about 95 highway,"km 270".It was opened on April 13,1998 as part of the state government's interest in promoting education.It has 3 rooms and 46 museum exhibitions.In addition to these resources,offers visitors exhibitions,workshops for children and various educational and recreational activities.It has a total area of 12911.52 square meters and construction area of 4355.60 sqm.

Guerrero Regional Museum

Guerrero Regional Museum is a building in the city of Chilpancingo,Guerrero built in the year 1902,during the government of President Porfirio Diaz.He served as Government House State of Guerrero to 1972,Town Hall,until 1985 and in 1986 was declared a historic monument,a year after its facilities opened in the Regional Museum of Guerrero,who continues in office.Guerrero Regional Museum is the maximum house of culture in the city of Chilpancingo and inside has two permanent showrooms and temporary exhibitions.

Juxtlahuaca Caves

Juxtlahuaca caves are located in the Guerrero state.It is an archaeological site which houses paintings iconography related to Olmec.Along with Oxtotitlan,also located in the area of Guerrero,Juxtlahuaca caves are one of the earliest examples of sophisticated pictorial activity are known in Mesoamerica to date and also the only example of rock art in caves Mesoamerican not found deep in the Maya area.The caves are located Juxtlahuaca several hundred kilometers southwest of the Olmec heartland area.
