How to Reach

By Air

The nearest international airport is Krakow–Balice (100 km from Busko) in Katowice-Pyzowice (160 km from Busko) and in Warsaw-Okecie (220 km from Busko).In Maslow near Kielce (50 km from Busko) is sport's airport.In Busko is also Airport Health in Lowisk.

By Train

There is a railway from Kielce, which was built in 1953 near the city in Sieslawice.Currently, Busko's train station only supports transport's trains.It was closed for passenger trains in December 12, 2004.The station was sold and a disco was built in its place.

By Bus

The Car Transport Company in Busko has 132 buses.The partnership supports long distance connections with Warsaw, Krakow, Karpacz, lodz, Lublin, Katowice, Tarnow, Czestochowa and Wroclaw.There are 23 registered cab companies in the municipality.

By Road

The national road NR73 passes through Busko between Kielce to Tarnow; it is 3.3 km long. Three regional roads also pass through Busko: DW767 Busko – Pinczow 5.3 km long.DW776 Busko – Krakow 2.7 km long.DW973 Busko – zabno 14.4 km long.

Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary

the oldest, after-Norbertine parish church in Busko-Zdroj.The original church was erected in place today around the year 1166.In the years 1180 - 1820 was included in the church of the monastery complex the existing during that period in Busko-Zdroj Order of Norbertine.In the year 1804 shall be the reconstruction of the facade of the temple, its interior is enriched by a new altar.On the square next to the church there are two interesting features - set to the column from year 1738 figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception and built in the late nineteenth century belfry.

Parish of St. Brother Albert

was appointed to the existence of 20 December 1983 laying Ordinary of the Diocese of Kielce decree, Fr. Dr. Bishop Stanislaw Szymeckiego.The patron of the parish was then blessed, Brother Albert - Adam Chmielowski.Pastor Fr.Bishop appointed Fr. Francis Beraka canon.At the time of appointment of the parish had only a small chapel of St.Anna in the spa park and the church in Chotelku.She had no parish, catechetical classrooms, the new church site.In 1997, the were founded three bells which on 29 May 1997, the in Corpus Christi consecrated Fr.Bishop Mieczyslaw Jaworski.

Mickiewicz Avenue

International Music Festival Krystyna Jamroz

a festival of classical music which takes place every year since 1995 year usually in late June and July.The event gathers well-known Polish and foreign musicians, conductors and singers.So far, there are seventeen editions of the festival.The program includes symphonic concerts, chamber music, recitals, masterclasses, gala operas, operettas, oratorios and concerts of lighter music genre.Patron of the festival - the singer Krystyna Jamroz - born and raised in Busko-Zdroj.

Summer of Chopin Festival

cyclical music festival held in July in Busko-Zdroj.Sixteenth edition took place on 19 - 30 July 2010 year.Originator and organizer of the festival is prof.Barbara Hesse-Bukowska in cooperation with the cultural and educational center Busko-Zdroj Spa SA.The performances of participants are held in the Concert Hall of the sanatorium, "Marconi".In spite of the name of the festival apart from the works of Frederic Chopin's guests can hear the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Szymanowski or other composers.The festival brings together pianists mainly Polish and Japan but also from Thailand, Spain, Brazil, Belarus, Lithuania and Germany.In 2008, the first time attended by artists from Kazakhstan and Greece.
