By Train

In Bochnia's railway station through which runs the railway line No. 91 ( Cracow Central - Medic).The line was founded in 1856 as part of the Galician Railway Charles Louis.To railway infrastructure in the city can still include the railway siding to the plant Stalprodukt and siding for unloading tanks of gas.Formerly there was also the salt mine shaft Campi but was dismantled and its residues can be found even in the asphalt street Karosek and water supply.

Church of St. Nicholas

the oldest and largest church in Bochnia, from 1998 years below the basilica from 2003 year collegiate.Church of Sts.Nicholas was built between 1440-1445 on the site of the previous temple destroyed by fire in 1440.In its original form it was a Gothic hall church with a relatively long, three-sided chancel which was erected at the north sacristy and a chapel dedicated to the Eleven Thousand Virgins (later renamed the Chapel of St.Kingi).In 1998 the church acquired the dignity of Minor Basilica.In 2003 the church was founded chapter of the collegial but the church was raised to the dignity of the church.

Church of  St. John

is a parish Roman Catholic located in the Diocese of Tarnow in decane Bochnia East.Founded in 1987.It is the youngest parish in the city.It is located on the estate of St.John at the intersection: Brzeznicki and Fr.Stanislaw Wojtowicz.Has about 4,936 faithful.The parish publishes its own magazine "spring" and are included in the distribution of the rest of the religious press.

Museum.prof.Stanislaus Fischer

The Museum plays an important role in the intellectual life of the city and county, being a center of scientific, educational and publishing.It is situated in a former Dominican monastery - winged, late baroque building whose oldest portions can reach the sixteenth century (the exact date of foundation is not known), located on a corner plot the eastern side of the square.In 2000 the museum building was entered in the register of monuments of the Malopolska province.

Municipal House of Culture

Parish Choir girl Puellae Sancti Pauli

In the parish of St..Paul works girlish chorus "Puellae Sancti Pauli" was founded in September 1996 by Fr.Gregory Baker.Artistic achievements of the choir include: second place in the competition organized by TV carols Krakow (1999) second place in the competition carols in Myslenice (2001).Three times the choir has performed at the National Festival of Religious Song "Cantate Deo" in Rzeszow - in 1999 where he won distinction in 2001 took second place and in 2003 he reached for the top prizes taking place.

Bochnia Salt Mine

The Bochnia Salt Mine in Bochnia, Poland is one of the oldest salt mines in the world and the oldest one in Poland.The mine was established between the 12th and 13th centuries after salt was first discovered in Bochnia and became part of the Royal mining company zupy krakowskie (Krakow salt works).The mine was closed some time after World War I.In 1981 it was declared a heritage monument.The mine shafts measure 4.5 kilometres in length at about 330–468 metres in depth below the surface at 16 different levels.Excavated chambers, shafts and passages form an underground town which is now open to sightseers.The largest of the preserved chambers has been converted into a sanatorium.In 2010 the mine was proposed for the UNESCO World Heritage List as an extension of the Wieliczka Salt Mine inscription of 1978.Bochnia mine was not ready yet to be made accessible when Wieliczka entered the list originally.
