Augustow Church

Is a parish Roman Catholic in Augustow (deanery augustowski - St. Bartholomew the Apostle).Canonically erected July 23, 1549 from the foundation of the king of Polish King Sigismund II Augustus as the parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle.The present church, decorated in Neo-Romanesque style, was built between 1906-1911 and consecrated by the bishop of Lomza, Stanislaw Lukomski June 18, 1932.During World War II, the temple has suffered serious damage.After the war was rebuilt the towers were reconstructed in the years 1980-1986.

Augustow Canal

Church of Lady of Czestochowa in Augustow
