By Air

the nearest airport is Paros National Airport is an airport in Paros, Greece in the Cyclades islands region.(IATA: PAS, ICAO: LGPA).The airport is located in the southwestern part of the island, about 10 kilometers from the port of Parikia.The airport was opened on October 5 1982 on land made available by Nicholas Panteleou, hence its secondary name "Panteleou Paros Airport".Operation of the airport began as a municipal airport with a dirt runway and a small building covering 80 square meters.The year 1985 saw the construction of a paved runway.

By Ferry

Access to the island of Antiparos possible transition through the port of Parikia either by ship in 3-4 hours with highspeed from the port of Piraeus or via the airport of Paros which is 10 kilometers from the capital.In Parikia routes are small boat to Antiparos and transportation by bus to Punta where is the passenger and vehicle ferry in less than 10 minutes.

Cave of Antiparos

Around the middle of the eastern Antiparos and enough height from the sea is the famous cave of Antiparos, the most important in Greece and from inscriptions found in this allegedly was known in antiquity.The entrance to the transition happens, either from the beach after a painful process or the castle and which is connected with that road until 1970 were mules path.The Grand Lodge of the cave that consists of the main cave has dimensions: width 33 m, length 48 m and penetrate 25 m height Entrance to the cave starts arched portico and continues narrow and low passage ending in another gallery steep which is the main cave.The cathode in this section is a flight of stairs, past a ladder.The sight of the whiteness and transparency of stalactites is really spectacular.But there has been enough destruction during the Russian occupation of the island (1770-1774) Russian ships when crews removed many stalactites in order to enrich the imperial museum of the Hermitage.

Castle of Antiparos

The Venetian Castle of Antiparos is a typical example of the fortified settlements established in the Cyclades the period of Latin in 13th-16th century.Its construction dates to the mid 15th century when the Venetian Giovanni Loredano decided to marry Mary Sommaripa of Antiparos.In the original version included the Castle's main tower and residential perimeter, the houses can be divided into one continuous block construction, providing both the defensive wall of a fortified settlement.The only entrance was at ground level house in the south wing.Inside the main settlement developed platymetopes faces of three-storey houses in order and each had a separate entrance orodos which lead to external staircase.In the course of the settlement was extended outside the south wing to form a rectangular ring called "Xopyrga" and within the original enclosure around the base of the circular tower.

Glifa Beach

The sandy beach of Glifa is on the southern area of Antiparos.It is at 6 km from the main town and close to other important locations that can be taken into account for planning strolls and excursions.The beautiful Glifa Beach is located in a rural setting, which gives it an unspoiled look offering nice views towards the island of Paros.In the close areas there are some creeks as well.The southern beaches also count on great trees that provide shade from the sun in the hours when it get stronger.

Panagia Beach

Panagia is one of the most picturesque beaches on Antiparos.It is great for swimming, and can be found at approximately 1 km to the south of the main village, after passing the two main beaches of Psaraliki.Among the best features of Panagia beach, we can mention its peaceful atmosphere, which is a good option for those who want to a change of ambience after the crowded Psaraliki I.In fact, Panagia gets almost deserted in the hours when the sun shine get stronger.However, it has big trees that provide nice shade, and counts on an excellent tavern that offers delicious Greek dishes.The advantage of this beach over Psaraliki II –which also offers some privacy- is its fine and smooth sand, contrary to the stony terrain of the other one.
